Despite their best efforts, they've failed to ruin my birthday.

Happy 21st (again) AmChaff

Hope Snoots is taking you somewhere a bit posher than the Dodworth Valley Toby or Woolley Edge Services to celebrate.

Just been to the Old Post Office but I was also at the Mews in Ossett last night for a reunion dinner. It's all good.

I like the Old Post Office. Stopped there many a time with my mates on our way to/from Barnsalee and Sheffield games. Thumb up

Probably the best pub in the middle (more or less) of a motorway roundabout anywhere.

Woolley Edge depends if tha's nooerth bund or sarth bund Snoots. There's allus t'bridge I suppose but I think sarth bund just edges it, you sexy beast you.

Stockport getting knocked out of the FA Cup today means our televised league game at Edgeley Park will go ahead as scheduled.

Anyone agree that Grant has had enough time and it’s time to move him on?

He’s had 26 first team games plus a full pre season to work with this team and it’s supposed to get better as time goes by but it’s actually getting worse by the week.

18 League games in and we’ve lost as many as we have won W8 D2 L8. That’s as many defeats as Wrexham had in the whole of last season. The Chairman/owner stated they wanted automatic promotion, it’s not going to happen with Grant in charge. I know he’s had injuries to contend with but that is why you have a squad, probably one of the most expensive squads in the division.

His formations and team selection throughout the season have been questionable.
Sticking with Goodman for far too long
Playing Harness as a central midfielder while at the same time playing Wiles as a winger
Playing a formation with 1 striker up top and then trying to squeeze May and Taylor in the team but playing them out wide .
Only switched to a 442 when he had run out of options but still continues to play players in the wrong places.
Some of his subs are questionable, taking Castledine off yesterday..mind blowing. Taking Bojan off when we needed a big striker on the pitch
Not giving Ashia more playing time despite showing on several occasions he has the ability to deliver at this level but instead playing Roosken who is a left back in his place.

Just had a look at the table, 28 goals conceded. Only Plymouth 32 and Orient 29 have conceded more. We have the 3rd leakiest defence in the division along side Blackpool
