The thing is they are not much better and also look one mistake away from conceding as well!! RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 01-11-2025 Why wasn't Phillips booked for simulation in our box? That was hilarious how he threw himself in the air. The absolute state of football Ugno, thats a good opportunity tamely hit at the keeper... hook him.ffs Norwich are in bits. We can only hope for points against them. Here we go, Bent One lol Well, we've had chances. The players are just crap They seem to continually get in each other's way too. West Brom getting desperate now, the flopping and dark arts being applied ![]() Oh my days, a clean sheet... and a point RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 01-11-2025 Well done boys, deserved point. RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 01-11-2025 Good point away as usual and it stops the rot of 4 losses. On paper usually the next 3 games are a nightmare but on the current league form they are easy or easier so to speak. None of this will make a blind bit of difference come the end of the season though. I can really only see us winning 5 games in total if we are lucky ? I'm sure we will get a new owner with a plan but untill that transfer embargo is up how can you plan forward ? People talking about loans in January but for what ? We are already down and come the summer we will be weaker than we are now if that was possible ? A better wage bill though certainly as players like ugbo Lowe and others can be shown the door . RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 01-11-2025 Piss owl can take the predictions with a spurs win against Chelsea The rest of us absolutely f@ck all and charlie is in the sun bin against Norwich . RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 01-11-2025 All predictions in the bin ! 17pts of the mark by the way after today ...seriously if Real Madrid filled in for us from.now till the end of the season we would still be in risk of relegation. So who we have we got to compete with next season ? Bolton Barnsley Rotherham Huddershit neither will go up this season big guns as in plans Luton town and possibly plymouth although both clubs that seemed to had a plan and stability have both fallen of a cliff ! We may just be competing with the pigs again as it stands ! Should I say we get done kind of recruitment 100% correct because anything less and we will be f@cked ! RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 01-11-2025 Ugbo was absolutely poor, yet again. To not have scored a league goal since he signed is incredible. 18 months.. There's no salvation, he has to go. To be fair to whore bath, he made some goal bound saves today. I certainly wouldn't expect him to do it consistently, though. RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 01-11-2025 I think we signed a proper veteran keeper from Watford last year who never played his model like Stockdale are the ones that get you through pub league football. Pierce charles is gone we may as well face up to facts even if he does get a new contract with all the bells and whistles he won't want to be playing pub league shit ! Which leads me too why we should be giving game time to our other kiddie stretch although Stockdale was wise and fantastic at shit housery football even he had to be relieved at the end by a Dawson who had picked up experience at being shit and generally losing us games. Now is the time to blood some youngsters in if ever it was ! Nothing to lose . Shout out to fusire as well after his initial going missing through immense pressure he seems to have started building again towards being consistent. Chalobobar may as well be taken of the wage bill and cadz might get us some money in the coffers ...Bernard will be lucky to get a contract anywhere but could be solid in the pub league for us I suppose we will have to.mamage him according to our plans not his ! RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 01-11-2025 Id tend.to agree. Everything is currently up in the air, though. Even Lowe can smell a payday, speaking to SKY he acknowledged things are more positive around the dressing room now with the prospect of future owners and plans for the club. We need a clear out. One of the problems is, how many can we actually afford to clear out? We don't yet know if we'll be able to sign players on a free next summer? Chalobar is a joker, he's stealing a wage. Bernard is decent on his day but yet another player.made.of balsa Palmer is starting to get past it. His heart is.always there but he getting caught out a lot now. Kobacki isnt up to any level in my opinion. Maybe non league. RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Maddix - 01-11-2025 Might as well use a dartboard to pick the team Single 10, that's Barry in Treble 13, number 39's in Single 6, for f'ucks sake Iorfa's in again
