BTA is a problem. He's a trier but he does try far too hard. He needs a wise player alongside him. (Super Kev) Unfortunately he's very alone. Maja made the bench but never had a chance so we're stuck with what we have. If it's 0-0 at half time IMO we have a real chance. Another Liecester City performance is needed.

The club facebook page has been crammed with inspiring performances from the past, but that just reminds me of the quality we used to have. Hasn't made me optimistic at all.
And I still can't watch the great escape without crying.
I suppose things can only get better.

I wish we could bring Geoff Horsfield off the bench, though.

Well that first half was painful, lets hope it was all part of a CC masterplan.

RE: WBA - Playoffs Thread - Baggie_One - 17-05-2024

Nope

Need a new master plan

Including getting Grady off

New master plan.
Spend some money on the summer, striker, look at the contracts etc
Come back stronger

2 - 0 and exactly what we deserve!!!
Diangana absolutely wank all night and if the answer is bringing Reach on then we’re absolutely fooked!!
To be honest the vast majority of this squad are not good enough for the prem.
Big clear out needed, give CC the backing and build a team for the future.

Well can't argue with the result, the 'good' team did not really turn up, but lets remember what we did achieve this season with the attempted destruction of the club by Lai, we also need to remember we were the only club towards the top which did not spend a penny on transfers, nor did we have a team full of Premiership quality, as disappointing as tonight was, we did punch well above our weight all season. Well done to the lads.

Disappointed but not unexpected, we have struggled against the saints in recent history. This season we have not had an out and out striker and have struggled to convert chances. I was expecting 3-0 but at least we got a consolation goal. The third and fourth best teams across the season will fight it out at Wembley.

No cash injection from promotion, a harder struggle next season.

A big thank you to the squad, king Carlos and the back room / behind the scenes staff for giving their all and getting us into a position where we were forty five minutes away from Wembley. In the end the lack of quality and investment told.

August - we go again.

Come on you baggies!.

Well, a season of complete over performance has now finished.
Far from being disappointed, I'm simply amazed with where we finished, and am 100% optimistic about our future - I don't mean necessarily going up next season - with our new owners and our fantastic Head Coach!
