RE: Burnley vs WBA - Match Thread - WBA-Josh - 05-02-2015 Haha I spent a good half an hour making that team because I had 2 different 11's in my mind and I wasn't sure which I would put down. The first was a 3-5-1-1 with Gamboa and Pocognoli as wingbacks and Sessegnon behind Berahino which would give us a spare man at the back and in midfield against Burnley's 4-4-2 but a 3-5-1-1 can have problems especially in away matches such as lack of width if the 2 wing-backs cannot get up the pitch to support the attack enough. So with that in mind I decided on the classic 4-2-3-1 with pace on the wings and Morrison running the show in what I think is his best position. Sorry that I haven't been posting much in the past month. I have been ill ever since I came back off holiday in September and it has progressively got worse as time has gone on. I have been going back and forth to the doctors who are very stumped by it all and I have to go into hospital in a few weeks for a colonoscopy and some other procedures because the doctors said that there is a chance that I could have Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis. There is definitely something wrong because I have constant stomach problems and diarrhoea, I am always tired even after a lot of sleep and I have lost about 3 stone in 3 months without exercising. Hopefully the doctors can finally find out what is wrong with me. I will get started with those lines Sir Drewks of Sports Babble. LONG LIVE KING DREWKS! ![]() ![]() RE: Burnley vs WBA - Match Thread - talkSAFT - 05-02-2015 Good luck, Josh. Hope they cure you soon. (Sounds more like too much DoomBar to me). Have your Doctors mentioned this?? "Some indications of an allergy to wheat — stomach cramps, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms — overlap with those produced by a sensitivity to gluten or by celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder, so it’s crucial to get an accurate diagnosis. An allergist can determine whether an allergy is present." DD ![]() ![]() RE: Burnley vs WBA - Match Thread - WBA-Josh - 05-02-2015 Thanks TalkSaft. That hasn't been mentioned to me before DD but looking at Celiac disease on-line, it does include some of the symptoms that I have had since September. I have no clue of what my problem is but I trust the doctors at the hospital to get it eventually sorted. EDIT: DD, the doctor did actually say that Celiac Disease could be a possible cause for my trouble. She said something beginning with C but I forgot what it was. I asked my Dad about it and he remembers her saying it. Onto the match on Sunday, I think we will scrap a 1-0 win with a Berahino goal in the 72nd minute. I expect a scrappy match with lots of direct football from Burnley. Ings will have to be watched closely by McAuley or Lescott (if he is back in the centre of defence) because he will only need 1 chance to score. RE: Burnley vs WBA - Match Thread - drewks - 05-02-2015 Blimey - sorry to hear that Josh. Hope things get sorted out for you - seems like you're going through it a bit. In these circumstances I'm prepared to reduce the lines to 2,500, but make sure they're VERY neat ![]() Ha! Dr. D.D. ![]() No offence but I think talkSAFT's diagnosis could be more accurate ![]() ...72nd minute???? RE: Burnley vs WBA - Match Thread - WBA-Josh - 05-02-2015 Thank you King Drewks. How about 2000 lines and one of my world famous neck massages? It is guaranteed to make old farts like yourself feel like 23 again. ![]() ![]() I think 72nd minute for the breakthrough because Berahino, McManaman and Sessegnon can exploit Burnley's defence when it starts to tire around that time. RE: Burnley vs WBA - Match Thread - Foxman_WBA - 06-02-2015 For me this game is massive, it’s all well and good losing 3-0 to spurs and barely putting up a fight but you HAVE to beat the teams below you. 3 points tomorrow is a minimum an uplift in goal difference might be nice but 3 points is defiantly a minimum. Now I’m not saying this game will be easy, on the contrary, they are organised and tough to beat and have the heart and belief in resilience that we used to have. Hopefully all this with Berahino is press nonsense and the team is focus in what we have to do this weekend. IMO this game is the biggest test of TP and the (apparently inept) AI won 4-0. This is the time for the team to fight and instil the belief of the fans after a disappointing week. For me we will win the 2-0, let’s hope ![]() RE: Burnley vs WBA - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 06-02-2015 We really should win this but I fully expect a draw. Hopefully Lescott at centre-back and ideally Pocognoli left-back or Baird more realistically. Yacob and Fletcher will probably be the centre-midfield partnership, Morrison may well be out for this one. Brunt and McMan will probably out wide with Berahino off Anichebe but I'd like Sess in probably on the wing. We should be decent enough defensively and it'll be interesting to see Ings against us. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mozza supporting Berahino to start (IMO his best position) with Big Vic on the bench to come on and batter 'em after an hour! On another note, rarely have I wanted Chelsea to win a game at all but I hope it all falls into place for that lovely club this weekend ![]() |
