RE: Huddersfield Town V Leeds United - sloppyattheback - 31-01-2015

Really pissed off, had a couple of hours to stew on the way home, from a game we should have had a share of the spoils at least

pissed off with our slow start then failure to get a 2nd goal or create anything that remotley looked like a winner in the 2nd half
CP failed to be brave and bring on Lolley, Bunn was blowing out of his arse at 70 mins everything went thru Scanz who at times had 3 on him we were so obvious.
Lynch, he was asked 2 mins before he was subbed if he was ok, he pulled up with clearly a hamstring pull even Huddy told Powell to sub him, CP then ranted at him all the way down the tunnel for being selfish and unprofessional in mu opinion.
Murphy, I've not see any highlights but after a good game surely a cross within the box should be cut out, lads around me said he was in no mans land and froze, couldnt quite make out how Smith got clattered so badly if he didnt bounce off the post.

Leeds had a better midfield more mobile, playing Coady who I rate but has absolutely no pace and Edgar is nothing more than a centre half who also wants to sit and cant distribute was far too negative a line up, perhaps our wafer thin squad means we dont have disciplined options ( Radi or the juniors) to step up but they went for the win in the last 10, we should have gone it from 70 mins when it looked stale.

Thought the atmosphere generally was quiet, Leeds never got going, all 3 town sides had their moments but overall a typical tight early ko derby with very little class and sadly we didnt show enough quality when needed.

Utter garbage, Town were garbage, Leeds were garbage, Powell was garbage and the game was utter garbage, two clueless teams running about without a xxxx clue how to win the game!!! It was that bad.

Sloppy sums it up nicely. The club seem totally clueless at the minute, the squad is paper thin, Hoyle is at Canalside before hand seeming pretty pissed off and the q&a, players leaving the club but with no replacements on the horizon. Do the club know what they need to do?

This is a club statement about Tommy Smith:

He's had scans and is now sitting up and talking but staying in overnight.

made the 400 mile trip and was pretty disappointed with the result, how austen was still on the pitch bemused me, the ref and linesmen were garbage. that been said fair play to redfern 2 foreigners in his starting 11 all the rest british and up for a derby game, slow start from us but when they scored basically everyone was looking at wells as he hobbled around, we should have sealed it scannell along the line in the first half and butterfield in the second, murphy looked like a rabbit in the headlights all game to me,not sure what edgar brings he was always about 10 feet in front of the centre halves, no long pass or shot in his armoury,no doubt he will be right back going forward , couldn't get why CP never changed it around 75 mins butterfield and bunn were knackered - fitness coach needs to work on this but should have brought on lolley and gobbern and pushed cody forward, never mind millwall here we come

The club have announced that Tommy Smith has been released from hospital. Thumb up

That's great news. Just watched Youtube and he took a really heavy knock trying to defend the cross.

Sky saying that dirty cheating bastard Austin is off to Wigan for half a million.

RE: Huddersfield Town V Leeds United - WakeyTerrier - 02-02-2015

that has to be the worst Derby game I've ever attended, we were shocking and they were no better. The atmosphere was terrible from both sets of fans who just all seemed to be waiting for the game to fizzle out to a draw.

Very disappointed with Wells and Lynch who despite being injured decided to continue on the pitch, when Leeds got the first goal we were effectively playing with 10 men and had Wells gone down to get treatment I doubt they'd have scored.
Lynch clearly injured in the second half should have got treatment when we had a stop in play but didn't, having said that everyone in the ground knew he was knackered so why didn't the management call him over to assess his injury at that point, he was only 5 yards away

And why wasn't Austin sent off, because just before it he let Butterfield off a clear yellow(having already been booked). As soon as our players surround the ref you could see him pointing to that incident and basically saying he's given both players the benefit of doubt.

But let's not get rapped up in the ref....we were Shite!

RE: Huddersfield Town V Leeds United - Lord Snooty - 02-02-2015

Powell asked Lynch if he was alright. Lynch waved back at him in an I'm okay type gesture. As soon as play started again and he couldn't run, Powell was absolutely fuming.
