Already got a rough script for my overseas friends RE: Town fixtures 2023/24 and match threads - Lord Snooty - 09-11-2023 Nice one theo. I was thinking about cobbling some old cobblers together tonight but you've saved me the effort. ![]() Been really busy this week, otherwise I would've stepped in earlier. Cheers Mr Luddite. ![]() RE: Town fixtures 2023/24 and match threads - theo_luddite - 09-11-2023 Cheers Snoots, draft ready, "in the best possible taste" as always. Waiting for tomorrow's pressers before sending ![]() You do more than your fare share on here. Go grab a bun or whatever drink you guys like. RE: Town fixtures 2023/24 and match threads - WakeyTerrier - 09-11-2023 Talking of pressers, I’ve just seen in FB/X that the Examiner coverage of Town is being pulled and Steven Chicken will have to find a job elsewhere, sounds like the Examiner as we used to know it will be gone very soon RE: Town fixtures 2023/24 and match threads - theo_luddite - 09-11-2023 It's all gonna be done by AI, well a lot already is, the thing is, AI needs original input from somewhere so it can copy and paste (most of AI is copy and paste, just doesn't need you to do it for it) the output. It will never be the green 'un or the pink 'un you could pick up in your home town shortly after the games ended. The Pink'un or the Green'un had a weeks worth of stories from local and national press, all verifiable, and then that day's results and a commentary on the days game of your local team up to the point it went to press. It often (no surprise here) missed the last few minutes. AI I fear won't take into account the first few minutes, let alone the last, but will kick out the expected result, not the actual result. The bunfights will then ensue as to who is actually where in each division. Nightmare. Aaaaarrrggghhhh!!!! I've also had stuff by email suggesting I should follow our Home Secretary on LinkedIn - like that's ever gonna happen. RE: Town fixtures 2023/24 and match threads - Lord Snooty - 09-11-2023 I know we take the piss out of the Examiner now and again, but this really is bad news. I fear, with the cuts in local radio, Oggy and the hairdresser will be next. They've got shut of Andrew Edwards this week. He's been there nearly 30 years. RE: Town fixtures 2023/24 and match threads - jjamez - 25-11-2023 I'll take boxing day and fa cup if both are still available RE: Town fixtures 2023/24 and match threads - Lord Snooty - 29-11-2023 I'll do a Swansea quickie. |
