Anis Mehmeti (Bristol City to Ipswich Town)
One of the biggest moves so far came when Ipswich Town picked up one of the bargains of the season by capturing Bristol City talisman Anis Mehmeti on a deal until 2029.
The 25-year-old moved to Portman Road with eight goals and six assists to his name in an outstanding first half of the Championship season.
Mehmeti’s addition gives Kieran McKenna another dynamic option in the final third as Ipswich look to build momentum and secure a return to the Premier League.
For Bristol City, his departure represents a massive blow, with Mehmeti arguably their most talented player this campaign.
Dan Neil (Sunderland to Ipswich Town)
Another exciting addition for promotion pushing Ipswich Town is the arrival of midfield stalwart Dan Neil on-loan from Sunderland.
The 24-year‑old arrives at Portman Road after emerging as one of the most consistent EFL midfielders over the past few years.
He captained Sunderland to promotion last season and gained admiration for his composure in possession, work rate and ability to link play.
Neil’s addition provides Kieran McKenna with yet another technically assured, forward‑thinking option in the centre of the pitch.

Ipswich Town have signed 17-year-old Ryan Doherty from Stevenage for what the League One side said was a six-figure fee plus add-ons.
Midfielder Doherty has made three appearances for Stevenage's first team in League One this season and started in all four of their EFL Trophy matches.
He made his first team debut in October 2024 to become the club's youngest ever outfield player to feature in a senior men's match.
"It's a privilege to sign for such a big club. Knowing there was interest for a little while, I knew this is where I wanted to go for the next step of my career," Doherty told Ipswich's website, external.
"I'm really happy to be here."
