I'm expecting nothing less than a nice fat tenner from you Snoots after last season. Then again, Hoggy might not play so make it a fiver. Big Grin

Stop the press, I missed the elephant in the room again - Scott Hogan scored for Brum so it's also £1 to ritchie.

I might get the hang of this eventually Whistle

Full update after the weekend but last night's debacle brought us 3 more squid as Snoots joined in with our one and only Carabooboo goal of the season and ritchie gets another £2 for Alistair McCann's brace. Now if a few of Town's players would join in the goalfest that our opponents are enjoying ...... I won't hold my breath.

theo...don't forget my £1 for any Rhodes goals.

Thanks SHEP, like I said, I'll get the hang of this one day. Whistle

That's all of us up and running, which is a bit more than a few Town players have done in the first 3 games.

Afternoon all.

It is my sad duty to report that inspite of Lord Snooty's fiscal policy of spending as little money in public as possible, rampant inflation has hit this thread to the tune of 566.667% in the past week alone.

In addition to the minor upward trend following the debacle that was the PNE game in midweek, inflationary pressure generated from an influx of Midlander's into the Northern Powerhouse has sent this weeks figures rocketing skywards.

AmChaff finally got the dream of a reward for a penalty save, but alas that was last seasons policy. She did however make up for that when Yuto Mt. Fujiyama headed home a lump of volcanic rock that was too hot for the Stoke keeper to handle. This along with a goal from Smoke's very own Baker man meant ritchies policy pitched in with another fine pair. It was the same Baker man that had his penalty brilliantly saved by young Mr. Nicholls, formerly of Benchwarmer Avenue, Milton Keynes. Who'd wanna be a Baker man eh?

SHEP's policy kept the inflationary pressure heading north when that man Jordan Rhodes tapped into an empty net after the "Normanton Messi" as he is known by some had sat the keeper on his arse.

Unfortunately it is my own policy of attracting investment from the Midlands that has resulted in the largest increase with 3 points and 3 goals accounting for £6 of that inflationary figure. I have to warn that it will be the end of the month at least before my policy will start to bring inflation back down to more normal levels.

Very good, theo. I should've had at least a couple of quid on, but young Duane passed instead of shooting.

Indeed - he's told Wardy and Rhodes they both owe him one each.

RE: Players for Pounds 2022-2023 - Amelia Chaffinch - 14-08-2022

First thing I said when the pen was saved was that the goalie couldn't do that when I had it in my p4p.  Doh

Patrick Jones's late goal at the Canary Cage was the only point and £1 we picked up last night.
