most of them were picked for tv. The Arse v Hull one was daft, billed as FA cup replay and must have had the lowest viewing figures of all games showed last week. shit game as well and was always going to be because both teams are wank atm.

I always think the third round, and fourth to a degree, are about sharing the wealth. TV should be compelled to show games that include lower league teams at home to higher league ones, firstly because of the prospect of a shock and second because it spreads the TV appearance money down to teams who rarely get that chance!! But of course that maybe doesn't sit well with the big clubs!!

All PL ties are less interesting because we see those matches every week.
For me the most interesting games are teams flying high in lower divisions against struggling PL sides.
