Bloody hell, Hoggy. Sad

RE: Millwall v the Mighty 'Udders - Lord Snooty - 16-03-2022

A bright start, then the passing started to go astray. Poor ball from Hoggy led to the goal, just like at West Brom. He needs to go back to his careful sideways and backwards passes.  Rolleyes

More or less the same pass that lead to WBA scoring Doh

Oh Benik Afobe.

Two brilliant strikes, and they have to be that to beat Nicholls.

No complaints though with the result. After we dominated the first ten minutes, looking like we would score anytime, it just went to pot. And that's all down to the tenacity of the Millwall team. Yes we shot ourselves in the foot with some poor passing, but that was mainly down to the way our opponents played against us, forcing us into mistakes. Rather like we normally play.

Maybe the lads have been reading their own plaudits and started to think they're better than they are. Tonight's performance wasn't up to standard.

Hopefully a better performance on Saturday. Give 'em their due they didn't rely on the hoof upfield though Afobe was stood well offside for the free kick for the 2nd goal, but seemingly played onside when it came off one of ours.
