It helped when they took Wood off at half-time, only one big lump up front to aim at but, as we say, it'll do. I might have preferred the winner in extra-time though

2008 v Birmingham was the last time we beat a Premier League team in the FA Cup, which was also the last time we beat a team from a higher division. I thought it was Leicester, but we were both in the Championship then.

Town played football, Burnley hoofed it around. It seems even Burnley fans are now getting tired of Dyche style foootball when they are getting the run around from teams that play football. Hell even Swindon tried to play out from the back against City last night.
Dyche et al can point where they want about injuries and Covid, they wouldn't have played any different regardless. They might have had a stronger bench but he likely would have put just as many benchwarmers on in his starting line up.
That said we switched off at the back for their goal and did it again when Tarkowski had a free header at the death.
Good ball in from Thomas again for our goals.

Yes, it's taken me a while to look it up, theo, but the last time we won an FA cup tie away at a top flight club was 1964 when we beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
