I think that's possibly why Mathies time at the club is coming to a end, he's done a good job but ultimately he's failed the last two windows, both Jack Ross and Ron Gordon expected at least a new striker at the club and it didn't happen. RE: Hibs v Saint Mirren, Sat 18 Sept, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 20-09-2021 That was definitely a glaring failure perceived by most Hibs fans towards the end of the transfer window. I reckon the aborted deal between St Mirren and Hibs in the last few hours of that last transfer period sealed Mathie's fate - a botch up that RG was not impressed with at all! Who does he bring in? All I can say is, "Choose wisely Ron"! |
