Not sure what happened to Forest, there's no excuse for their piss poor performances that's for sure/ At least we're an un-invested squad that's performing shite... Forest are making me feel better at the moment Big Grin

There are a bunch of teams that have incomes, and therefore budget, much bigger than ours that are struggling this season!! As you say it certainly makes our position a little more palatable. I do think a lot of our frustration comes from the fact that even without any major investment we recognise that we have a team that could be challenging with a few key signings and a bit more money to add to the squad, we are as close to a chance of the playoffs and a potential return to the top flight as we have been in well over a decade!!!

As Wereham once said, we shouldn't accept mid-table, we shouldn't be happy finishing there even if its where we should finish, we should be demanding more from the team, club and owner, and with the January window upon us we all hope he will open the cheque book a bit and let us have a go at the top 6!!

When does McGugans loan finish ?? Is he gone after the next game same as Drenthe ??? That will definitely leave us screwed for goals.

RE: Match Thread - Wigan Athletic - St Charles Owl - 28-12-2014

Yes, I believe his loan was until Jan 1 as well. Lets hope that some talking is going on behind the scenes.

Village come back to win 2-1 with a late winner, looks like they dominated the game from the stats!!!! Of the teams below us only them and Reading won with Rovrum and Blackpool drawing. With a win we can go up to 10th!!

No Maghoma?
I know he's not that good but am I reading too much into him being missing?

RE: Match Thread - Wigan Athletic - Towinjustonce - 29-12-2014

That's a fair point Thurnscoe and he hasn't played in a while either. Maybe he is injured. Also should he be on the list of players out of contract in the summer on the other thread like Zayette and Nuhiu. If so he could be on his way in Jan.

Like you say he isn't good enough.
