Here are the Quarter Final results:

Game 1 - Lord Snooty 28 v 30 BBB
Game 2 - Bomber 33 v 23 Derby
Game 3 - Silver 27 v 27 BaggieOne : Silver wins the tie break by having 3 Correct Scores compared to 2 from BaggieOne over these two weeks predictions.
Game 4 - Joker 11 v 25 Minizin

So BBB just overhauls LS, Bomber easily beats Derby and Minizin confirms his victory over Joker. The other match went down to the wire and went back and forward between the two. In the end their scores were the same but Silver takes it on the tie break by having one more Correct Score!! Here is the semi final line up:

Game 1 - BBB v Bomber
Game 2 - Silver v Minizin

Weeks 28 and 30 will determine the winners.

This week was the first leg of the Cup semi finals, here are the scores:

Game 1 - BBB 18 v 6 Bomber
Game 2 - Silver 4 v 1 Minizin

So going into the 2nd leg BBB holds a nice 12 point lead over Bomber and looks still to be on course for a league and cup double. Bomber is going to need a big week to overhaul that!!

Silver takes a small 3 point lead over Minizin into the 2nd leg in the other semi, Minizin needs to improve if he is to match BBB with a League and Cup double.

All to play for in Week 30.

Here are the Semi Final second leg scores:

Game 1 - BBB -3 v 3 Bomber
Game 2 - Silver 6 v 6 Minizin

So the aggregate scores are :

Game 1 - BBB 15 v 9 Bomber
Game 2 - Silver 10 v 7 Minizin

This years cup final, taking place in week 32 will be:

BBB v Silver

I'm pleased to have last years champion' scalp, though being drawn at home against Silver I'd have preferred to have been the away team as my record is better. Whistle

So the final was a tense affair but in the ned the result was:

BBB 17 v 11 Silver

So BBB wraps up the double having already won the PL. Silver put in a good performance but not quite enough in the end, at least he has the consolation of a PO game to gain promotion!!

Thank you, that was enjoyable, so I'd have to thank my first 3 results to get a 3pt lead, as the next 7 could have swung either way.

Given my recent form (or lack of it) that final was a bit like Cheltenham playing Man City with the same predictable result.
My thanks also to the organisers.
Now its a promotion/relegation battle with Amelia. (Remember your forcast for a 3-0 win for Walsall against the mighty Robins.)

Well the Prem might see you next year, though Amelia will fight tooth and nails not to be in a battle with Lady S to be top woman, so it will be interesting to see who wins. Good luck both.
