Well, where did that come from?

We could do with putting teams to the sword before we allow them back into the game.

Another scuffed special from Campbell.

A decent if slightly deflected strike from O'Brien.

And two decent strikes by the Normanton Messi.

Correct to disallow that other goal in the first half, clearly comes from an offside position to play the ball back.

Poor bit of keeping by our lad for the Swans goal, he has to better than flapping at it.

Young Rowe had a decent game, round pegs in round holes instead of playing central midfielders.

Slightly disappointed in a couple of things..
Firstly we didn't add to the score line once they were reduced to 10 men through injury, seemed more like a training exercise for the majority of that time.

We didn't give Thomas a run out and yet we bring on the waste of space Pritchard.

But that's just me nit-picking.

Overall much better, still plenty to do and hopefully we can continue at Derby on Tuesday night who will surely have one eye on the Tricky Trees on Friday night.

Well, where did that come from? Well, I reckon it's been coming for a while. We got the bits of luck that has been missing recently, especially at Bristol and Boro. Would've been even nicer if Juninho's shot had gone in off the keeper's head. Big Grin

My mate, Heppy reckons Schofield's the worst keeper we've ever had, but that's just silly. He's a kid still learning. Yeah he could've done better with the goal, but so could the wall. Two dwarves in it and neither jumped.  Blush

Them two dwarves had brilliant games though. Holmes shading Man of the Match for me with that spectacular goal, ahead of Hogg and O'Brien who were amazing. O'Brien back to his best, running at the opposition with the ball. And as for Rodney's lad. I wanted him to keep his place after the Cup match. His goal against Plymouth Gargoyle was another stunner and I thought would've been Goal of the Season before Duane's on Saturday.

You're right about Pritchard, Wakey. This was his best opportunity to shine. 4-1 up against 10 men with half an hour to go. Never saw him! He's just wasting his time here. I wouldn't even have him on the bench now. He's out of contract in the summer, just get some of the kids who will be here next year in for some experience. And like you say, would've been ideal for Thomas.

He must have forgotten Scott bevan and a few others from around that time, couldn't keep the grass dry in a drought let alone a clean sheet.

Dracula has his issues, mainly crosses, but I think the club will try bulk him out a bit over the close season, which may help him. I think he's afraid of coming for them due to being quite slim and not overly strong and ends up flapping at them, much like de gea when he first came over, and now. He did have a spell in between where he didn't as much

He clearly didn't see Hamer diving out of the way of everything in the Prem either.

I’ve just been in touch with the club regarding sponsoring a player. If you look in those digital programmes you will see that hardly any players are sponsored...so I thought why not if the price reasonable.

It isn’t and it’s no wonder we have no sponsors, these are the packages I’ve been quoted as an individual not as a business(the prices have been adjusted by the club to reflect that.

1. £900 + VAT - Player Sponsor, Signed Framed (Town) shirt, video message from the player and signed business shirt/poster/material.
2. £700 + VAT – Player Sponsor, Signed Framed (Town) shirt, and video message from your player
3. £500 + VAT – Player Sponsor, Signed (Town) Shirt

I’ve saved a few quid through lockdown with the pubs being shut, but this fool ain’t parting with that kind of cash.
One of the ‘benefits’ is announcement over the PA on match day, FFS who to directors of both clubs and a few selected press!

Bring back the days when you could sponsor bits of kit like socks and boot laces. Tongue

The upper echelons of the club seem so disconnected from the majority of what makes up the fan base its quite scary
