RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - WakeyTerrier - 16-02-2021

You can say we were unlucky, I say you create your own luck and for the vast majority of that game we were nowhere near good enough.

When you’re on our run of results being unlucky isn’t good enough. Too many players picking up a wage don’t give f*ck, too many aren’t prepared to run through a brick wall for us.

A complete shit show from top to bottom.

At least we have some new grounds to visit next season.

RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - Lord Snooty - 16-02-2021

Aye, Schofield needs to practice coming for crosses in training this week. He was awful on Saturday and again tonight got away with an offside decision saving him. Goalkeeping is not just about stopping point blank shots.

Honest Jonny Hogg should've had a penalty. It was identical to the one that they got, except Honest Jonny didn't make a meal of it. Not used to being in that position, is he. He was determined not to lose tonight, but not all his team mates were.

And how long are we going to be without Mbenza now? Knowing our luck, we won't see him again.

Apparently Mbenza has had this injury for a couple of weeks. Let's hope it's nowt serious.

RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - WakeyTerrier - 17-02-2021

Where do we go from here?

A chairman who is losing more and more support by the week and some that will never change that opinion.

A Coach that has now lost 6 and drawn 2 of the last eight. Both draws were poor affairs, and don't forget we practically forfeited the FA CUP loss to Plymouth
We've sacked previous managers for that kind of record.

A team lacking in numbers thanks to the injury list resembling a one hour special of Holby City.

Dickhead L**ds supporter at work(of the armchair variety) says he thinks CC is trying to get our players to play like L**ds. Well we are seeing precious little of that pressing, high energy game that L**ds did so well at in the Championship. In fact i don.t see that much of a change from the way weve played for the last 3 seasons.
Goalkeeper to defender, defender to Hogg, Hogg to defender...eat sleep repeat far too much.

Recruitment. Shocking. Massive amounts of money poured down the drain.
Bought for millions gone for pennies
Diakhaby,Kongola,Mounie,Lossl, Depoitre,Hadergjonaj and ,Mooy
Bought for millions and leaving on a free when Phil jettisons more off the wage bill this summer.
Mbenza, Pritchard and you can probably stick Schindler on that list.

For the record I've had my fill of Pritchard, said the day he made his debut away at Stoke that he was shitn and to this day he has yet to prove me wrong. Bin him off, offer him some sort of deal to get him out of the door and while were at it do the same for Elphick, Stearman and i know its ear;ly days but Keogh as well....we are not a retirement home for elderly centre backs.

RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - Lord Snooty - 17-02-2021

Don't know about Elphick but I think Stearman is on for a coaching role. He was up on the touchline shouting instructions last night. Why else would he include an unfit centre back on the bench?

RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - WakeyTerrier - 17-02-2021

Just for the record

Corberan
P9 W0 D2 L7
includes a cup defeat to Plymouth

Last 9 games of the previous 5 coaches/Managers

Cowley P9 W2 D3 L4

Siewert P9 W0 D3 L6
includes a cup defeat to Lincoln and 6 games in the Premier League

Wagner P9 W0 D1 L8
All in the Premier League

Powell P9 W3 D3 L3

Robins P9 W2 D2 L5

RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - Lord Snooty - 17-02-2021

He's definitely on dodgy ground, but Phat-head Phil gave him and all his coaching staff new contracts for Christmas. That's gonna be another hefty pay off to get shut.

RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - Lord Snooty - 17-02-2021

Stearman played for the B team this afternoon and Edmonds-Green played the second half. Hopefully we can get them both back in the first team soon and stick Naby back up front. Whistle

RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - Lord Snooty - 18-02-2021

Going back to the theme on a previous thread. McNair has won his appeal against the red card in this game.

So why have they decided that?

In my opinion, it was much worse than the Toffolo tackle. Toffolo slipped. McNair flew in recklessly. Angry Huh Confused Doh

RE: Middlesbruff v Cruddersfield - jjamez - 18-02-2021

Probably afraid of upsetting Neil Warnock.

Tbh snoots, I feel that toffolos challenge was worse than McNairs. McNair was in control, he was hard but fair, tofs slipped and had no control over what he did

Anymore for anymore on the quizzes?

I'll post the answers when I post the next thread
