RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - Dingle-Dingle - 30-06-2018 At least some good news here...... Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has been told the club cannot even afford free transfers while they are in financial crisis. I doubt we would stand much chance of getting him though, I suspect we would be behind half the clubs in the prem trying to get their hands on him. Who knows though, if the salary, level of responsibility and everything else is right, he certainly would know what to expect from Jenkins, if he gets to spend a bit of cash as well. He had 20 clean sheets last season in the Chanpionship which I think is a very good return for a play-off team. We’ll still need to sign an experienced number 2/competition as well. Maybe Milan Borjan, the Canadian goalkeeper of Serbian descent, from Crvena Zvezda. We were linked with him a few weeks ago. |
