The concourse are fairly lengthy as I recall with enough room to walkabout before the game starts, plenty of room outside the stadium too to have a walkabout.
Turnstiles wise you scan your ticket, then walk thru, you may get frisked when past thru the turnstile also.

Well in gentlemen. I couldn't be more green. Having already booked tickets for a month over Xmas it's just not possible for me to make the mad dash
The way I'm looking at it, I should be able to catch a PL game at S6 boxing day?

It's a long way to go and expense when you gave other trips planned also. Be my first Xmas in uk for years so also looking forward to Boxing Day game in the prem hopefully.
