RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - Beefy 1965 - 28-06-2018 Something's not right ,one by one are targets are being snaffled while at WBA ,silence I have asked Matt Wilson at the express and star and he simply says no one at the club is saying anything !! Here's the latest on our other targets !! Middlesbrough and Stoke in talks to sign Matt Ritchie for £15m Leeds bidding £12m for Matej Vydra Nottm Forest spending £13.2m on Joao Carvalho West Brom... #WBA https://t.co/daxrF4tUF4 RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - WBA-Josh - 28-06-2018 Forest have overspent heavily on Carvalho. He only played 7 league matches last season, most of the season was spent either on the bench or with the 2nd team. The other players we have missed out or will probably miss out on are disappointing. Reid would have been a good number 10 for us, Flint would be a good replacement for Dawson if he chooses to leave and Ritchie will be a great signing for Boro or Stoke although we probably don’t need him as much as they do. Most of all I’ll be disappointed if we don’t do more to sign Vydra because have lacked a fast goal scorer upfront since Odemwingie left. At least there’s still a month left so plenty of time for fingers to be taken out of arses and the hard work to be done in signing players. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - drewks - 28-06-2018 Jeeeez - I hope I'm totally wrong but this bloke looks like a first rate knob and a second rate player. Is this the best we can do?? ? https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/former-bristol-city-winger-closing-1725416 RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - WBA-Josh - 28-06-2018 (28-06-2018, 17:08)drewks Wrote: Jeeeez - I hope I'm totally wrong but this bloke looks like a first rate knob and a second rate player. Is this the best we can do?? ? Watched him a couple of times last season whenever Hellas Verona was on BT Sport and he didn’t look particularly special. Played on the left wing or as a striker and he would try hard and had raw talent but didn’t use the talent enough. He’ll probably be a like for like replacement for McLean with McLean going to Stoke. We’ll still need to play either Phillips or Chadli, if he stays, ahead of him in the team though and use Aarons as an impact sub like with Burke. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - SomersetBaggie - 28-06-2018 Zoltan Gera has just retired, how about having him as Big Dave's assistant? RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - Baggievicar - 28-06-2018 Talk him out of retirement and bring him back. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - Dingle-Dingle - 29-06-2018 Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio is considering a move to West Brom which could see the 22-year-old Spaniard become the most expensive signing in the Midlands club's history. (Marca - via Express). DD ![]() ![]() RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - Baggiebob(BBB) - 29-06-2018 Just woke up, didn't dream of anything, has anything happened yet? Shouldn't this by on the joke page? ![]() ![]() That said you never know, as long as we can beat or at least match Liverpool's reported £158 million pending offer with the guarantee of first team football (we can certainly beat Liverpool on that one). ![]() ![]() RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (27 June) Championship Rebuild - Beefy 1965 - 30-06-2018 Matt Wilson's take on the WestBrom hitting the ground running reboot that hasn't happened ..... https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/ |
