He will always pick Kane but Shaw will play from the start in the semi, he was much better than Trippier. Saka had a good game, his first performance of the tournament. England are not exciting, not expecting that to change but they also are very, very difficult to beat, that will always give us a chance.

Overall poor performance, we were a touch better in the first half but for the rest of the game we were poor, Southgate rescued by another good strike and then 5 good penalties.

Disagree, on the form we have seen from other teams we would still likely beat France, Belgium and Portugal, more importantly the way they have been playing they might not be able to beat England. For me Germany and Spain have probably been the best two teams but thankfully they have had to play each other.

Turkey have certainly been the better team so far.
They're not happy with sitting back on their one goal lead like Sidegate would be.
The persistence of leaving Kane on today possibly cost the win within regular time. He strolled about too much, he wasn't in the positions he should've been.
I find it difficult to envision England overcoming any other major nations despite how poorly some of them have played.
Sidegate makes everything such a painful, negative grind. We've barely scored goals in the tournament.
