The photo shows at that time  the current bid was £7900, should be worth a lot more than that as the current bias in football means it will be the last proper silverware we will win.
We never try to hard in the cups and the only other silverware would be the odd league titles maybe in the lower divisions where the money teams don't compete.I
Asset stripping, I heard next week they are auctioning off the teacups and tea trolley. Whistle Whistle Tongue Tongue

No disrespect, well a little disrespect, but it does not bode well for our transfer window and next season. Manager off to Leeds  Whistle  Whistle  Whistle , no money, and losing out to clubs that finished below us this season.

Looks like another transfer target could be missed .... This time Jonathan Panzo looks likely to sign for Rangers. Don't blame him really, a chance of silverware and playing in Europe whilst playing the same championship level of football. Something we will probably never offer again ...... LAI out, now!
Silverware that is, not championship football ..... That's our foreseeable future.

CC really does need to bring players in to put his mark on mainly the attitude of the players. We are still in need of leaders who grind out wins. We are all aware of the teams mental weakness and shoulder shrugging. If we don't get half a dozen real men in i cant see us being in the top half.
Our last few games were poor I'm putting that down to injuries and I have faith in CC to improve what we have got.

I found that a really helpful but extremely troubling analysis; I think it explains pretty well just what poor decisions the club has taken (most of which we knew), what an unbelievably complicated ownership structure we have and, probably most importantly, what deep sh1t we are in. When you see the picture laid out as starkly as that, it’s hard to see positive future.

RE: 2023: Summer Transfer Window - Blue Baggie - 19-06-2023

Can you imagine how difficult it's going to be to attempt to get all the owners together to sell the club and expect them to take a loss on the initial investment. I don't believe selling is an option.
We still have assets that can be sold while holding a position in the championship.
Sadly any players that can fetch money could be sold to keep us afloat in the short term
Any push for promotion will be in the hands of CC.
It's still possible but with our better players being sold off it makes it more difficult.
Interesting window ahead.

RE: 2023: Summer Transfer Window - Stairs - 19-06-2023

All I can say is todays valuable players were unknown once upon a time. It’s possible to sell a lot of the squad and buy new players and make a competitive team from them.

Newcastle look ready to make a surprise bid for West Bromwich Albion's English goalkeeper Josh Griffiths, 21. (Sun)
