Well done Belgium. Very good match and thoroughly enjoyable.

Whilst Brazil was my favourite for the tournament, I’m happy they’re out because of Neymar. Feck him.

Belgium’s performance was superb. Tactically spot on in the first half and whilst the subs were a little slow, the second half was still very good. They rode their luck at times but I think they thoroughly deserve the win.

France vs Belgium in the semi-final is going to be tasty.

Another One Bites The Dust
Brazil were useless
Nice To See The End Of Neymar At This World Cup
Overpaid And Over Rated
Still I`m Sure He Can Get A Job As A Grass Roller

As Neymar went down like a sack of potatoes and rolled around in agony the referee immediately approached Eden Hazard the Belgium captain and showed him the yellow card.

"For fucks sake ref, " said Eden, "I only shook his hand, we haven't kicked off yet. "

The pace and power of Lukaku scared the Brazilians to death at times, especially in the first half. Like the idea of how Albion played a significant role in making him the player he is today! Cool

Chadli on the other hand....a starter for potential world cup winners ...what went wrong there? Doh

RE: World Cup 2018 - Arcane Astral Aeons - 06-07-2018

is it just me(probably)
but the so called big teams all went out for basically relying on one player?

Argentina=Messi rest of his team wernt that good
Spain= Iniesta didnt really perform
Brazil=maybe if Neymar decided it was a team game and stopped all those stupid flicks and stayed on his feet they may still be in it
Portugal=toatally reliant on ronaldo

germany=well they were just shite from back to front

Regarding Neymar and his theatricals; how come he wasn't booked for simulation?

As one commentator said afterwards, his stupid nonsense probably cost Brazil one genuine penalty call late on in the game because, the ref had seen and had enough.

Never mind justice was done; well done Belgium; I think you could go on and win it.

Spot on, Silver. All refs will know The Boy Who Called Wolf story.

Neymars cheating finally caught up with him. He was getting nothing that wasn't stonewall 100% and more. Brazil actually turned in their best performance of the tournament 2nd half but belgium defended brilliantly.

Belgium are a very good side, hazard was excellent in particular. I think france might win the semi final though.

Totally agree. Neymar is blessed with immense talent and, yes, I know he gets fouled a lot, but his antics to either win penalties or get players sent off is nothing short of appalling. Over the years, great players like Pele, Eusebio, Dalglish, Best used to get kicked from pillar to post but I didn't see any diving from them. I think you're right that France will beat Belgium and are also likely winners if they do but just got a sneaky feeling about Croatia.

RE: World Cup 2018 - WBA-Josh - 07-07-2018

Good performance by England. Really took their chances and played some good football. Sweden meanwhile were poor and really disappointing.

England guaranteed 4th place at least now and that is where I think they will finish in the tournament because I think the semi-final will be a step too far for this young squad. (Unless Russia beat Croatia tonight which I doubt will happen. I think Croatia will be too good for Russia and England with their quality midfield)

As an aside, the commentary was an abomination. Doh
