The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Owlkev71 - 13-05-2015 List of premier league players out of contract at the end of the season: Arsenal: Mathieu Flamini, Abou Diaby, Damian Martinez Aston Villa: Darren Bent, Ron Vlaar, Chris Herd, Enda Stevens Burnley: Dean Marney, Steven Reid, Ross Wallace, Michael Duff, Danny Ings Chelsea: Didier Drogba, Gael Kakuta Crystal Palace: Shola Ameobi, Jerome Thomas, Brede Hangeland, Owen Garvan, Damien Delaney Everton: Sylvain Distin, Antolin Alcaraz, Luke Garbutt Hull City: Steve Harper, Liam Rosenior, Paul McShane, Alex Bruce, Stephen Quinn, Yannick Sagbo, Maynor Figueroa, Joe Dudgeon Leicester: Esteban Cambiasso, Matthew Upson, Paul Konchesky, Marcin Wasilewski, Dean Hammond, Conrad Logan, Zoumana Bakayogo Liverpool: Kolo Toure, Glen Johnson, Jon Flanagan, Jerome Sinclair Manchester City: Richard Wright, James Milner, Micah Richards, John Guidetti Manchester United: Tom Cleverley, James Wilson, Ben Amos Newcastle United: Jonas Guitierrez, Ryan Taylor, Sammy Ameobi, Freddie Woodman Queen Park Rangers: Shaun Wright-Phillips, Rio Ferdinand, Joey Barton, Richard Dunne, Brian Murphy, Bobby Zamora, Karl Henry, Clint Hill, Alejandro Faurlin Southampton: Artur Boruc Stoke City: Jonathan Walters, Thomas Sorensen, Peter Odemwingie, Andy Wilkinson, Wilson Palacios Sunderland: Wes Brown, Anthony Reveillere Swansea City: Gerhard Tremmel, David Cornell Tottenham Hotspur: Brad Friedel West Bromwich Albion: Boaz Myhill, Chris Baird, Gareth McAuley, Youssuf Mulumbu, Claudio Yacob West Ham: Guy Demel, Carlton Cole, Jussi Jaaskelainen, Nene RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Thurnscoe_OWL - 13-05-2015 Realistically, I'd take Darren Bent (obvious reasons) and Luke Garbutt (young LB highly thought of). Dont think there's many other's tbh. Poor year for out of contract players as I said a few weeks ago Danny Ings as well but he'll either stay at Burnley or go back to prem Stephen Quinn as well even though he's a massive xxxx I think it proves we'll have to spend money on players for once RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Statesideowl - 13-05-2015 If stick insect doesn't like his offer, we should offer something to young Damian Martinez. Would be decent back up for Westwood. Bent's worth a punt. You're right about spending Thurny. Even some of these frees are going to demand a wage. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Washington - 13-05-2015 I think we should be looking for a few gems from the lower leagues or abroad and just get some season long loans of younger PL players like other championship teams have done with kane and Bamford etc. Thats assuming SG actually plays them and in a position they're supposed to !!! Most of the OOC PL players are likely looking to maintain their lifestyle rather than help push for a promotion. Be interesting to see how it all unfolds though. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Thurnscoe_OWL - 13-05-2015 I'd look at someone like serge gnabry on loan for the season as well (or until January if arsenal have plans for him) RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - consilio - 13-05-2015 New advisor Jonathan Hill joins. Got a fantastic pedigree with youth players RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Statesideowl - 13-05-2015 He does indeed Consilio. This guy already sounds much better than Pearson. Has spent time at both Manc clubs. No doubt has plenty of contacts... Sounds good ![]() RE: Money, money, money!! Based on his skill set i think this addition might have been on the cards irrespective of Pearson leaving. To me Pearson was more of a long term Aldridge replacment and so we still have time to cover that without panicking. Like MS has said I too think 5 is a better size for a committee and more balanced decisions. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - madsteve - 13-05-2015 I would like someone long associated with the Club on there but it seems the vacancy now is for a finance guy. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Thurnscoe_OWL - 13-05-2015 This new bloke isn't persons replacement. We'll still be looking for that. This is in addition to who we have/had we'll have a lot more than 5 on the committee in the next few years that's for sure |
