Left backs are hard to get it seems. He'd only be a squad player.
I can only imagine the players who haven't signalled their intent to leave are holding out for a takeover.

RE: Pre season suicide watch Sheffield Wednesdayfc - Washington - 14-07-2025

Latest evening news is some, but not all players were paid Monday. No mention of staff. Comments allege some of them were not happy about this - probably those that are wanting to move as a free agent to get a better salary but now any move will incur a transfer fee so the salary increase won't materialize. Smith and Windass maybe on the way out anyway.
Jury is out whether the funds have come from the recent transfers, Chancer is borrowing against that income or if someone has actually put money up front. Personally I hope the dodgy Italian is just a smokescreen and the 2 US options are viable. No doubt the broker is being professional with them but once offers get to Chancer it must be a nightmare. Can see him rejecting everything and then getting a broker bill to add to the debts.
Another crazy week ahead with only a month to the season starting (if we survive that long !!!)

Last OT post I read said the dodgy Italians had offered over 100 M (obviously too good to be true) and the signed 'contract document' that was circulating in SM was allegedly sent into people in the club by Att. Now more diligence has been done they don't have the cash and we may just have wasted a week we couldn't afford to. What an effin' SWFC nightmare we are living in.

One slight positive is a staff member on OT reported he was paid today and is hoping is mates were too.

I can't imagine a sale will be going though until the value of the club reflects the circumstances its currently in.
As I mentioned before. Chansiri may have taken a step back but he isn't letting go that easily.
His refusal to accept a reasonable offer will only prolong the club's torture.

It also sounds like he's using force to hold the team together by making Rohl return to the fray and paying players that wanted to walk by handing in their notice.

Some of these prima donnas are bad enough as it is, forcing them to play for a club (and now a manager?) they don't want to work for will only result in subpar performances and a toxic dressing room.

Chansiri is still performing a more than ample job of screwing the club over from this alleged ambient position.

Gassama to Rangers finally confirmed.

Still selling assets to keep the lights on then.

The wages have been paid, players and non playing staff. Not quite sure how we are going to pay the next set of wages and the the next tax bill in the next 2 weeks. Smith was being linked with a couple of clubs this morning, will he be the next "ASSET" to go to pay the bills/wages???

The whole shitshabang needs throwing in the bin the marketing from the club website is a f@cking joke ..endless advertisements for fizzy drinks followed by more information in the under 21s than the actual first team !

I’m thinking business on DH Gate will be through the roof. Maybe we can get a new North stand one on TEMU. too !!!

72 quid for that rag of a shirt is disgraceful.
Add to that, the unreasonable cost of season tickets to endure, not watch, endure a season of football at S6.

It would be funny if someone came in and let him hold on to the stadium ... then built a new one Laugh

£60M goes a long way on the project Cool
