RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - Blue Baggie - 09-07-2019 Special thanks to JRod for his service attitude and goals. £8 million for Rogers - it should go directly back into the academy. U18:boss leaving - no shock there, nobody wants to work for Dowling or Jenkins and they are voting with their feet. Lastly if we don't get busy buying In the next week, Bilic will be off before he starts and I wouldn't blame him. . RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - baggietrousers - 09-07-2019 As a club we are well and truely f##ked. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - Blue Baggie - 09-07-2019 The fans are the club, it's the idiots that are running the show. I still say they are asset stripping. Any one with 1/2 a brain doesn't want to work for them. Bilic has been sold a pup and if he stays will just hang around for 3 months to pick his cheque up. For the posters who think I'm doom and gloom it's the reality I'm afraid. I will still be a fan even when we are in Division 1 though. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - Dingle-Dingle - 09-07-2019 Lets hope HRK doesn`t ask for a transfer.......... DD
RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - Blue Baggie - 09-07-2019 Hegazi gone now.- back to Egypt £10 million Lai is so happy he's almost got his money back Just Gibbs to Go RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - Slick_Footwork - 09-07-2019 As predicted after the Villa game, it's proving to be a summer of huge transition where we sell most of the high earners with any transfer value and have to replace them at a fraction of the cost or with loans. Whether we are battling for a playoff place or fighting at the other end of the table will be largely determined by our recruitment team's ability to perform miracles. To be honest I'm not massively bothered about any of the individuals we are selling, as without Gayle and Barnes last year we were a very average side. I've never particularly rated the likes of Hegazi. Of the players with any transfer value we have left, Phillips and Gibbs are the ones I would personally like to see us keep. What I am concerned about is that in comparison to last season we have already lost Dawson, Holgate, Adaraboiyo, Mozza, Barry, Montero, Johansen, Murphy, Rodriguez and Gayle who were all in and around the 1st team. Nyom, Burke and Rondon return, along with Krovinovic. Overall that is 10 out and 4 in. 1 of those 4 in being Rondon who will inevitabley be sold. We are very very short already. Before any more sales, we are 6 1st team players players down from last season. Rondon, Hegazi and this kid Man City are after seem to be close to being sold. These doesn't seem to be many incoming links... Surely we need bodies asap... The season starts in less than a month and we barely have enough players to put a squad out. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - SomersetBaggie - 09-07-2019 Not sure it is asset stripping, I think it is more the fact that the key players were talked into staying for a year with the promise of moves if we did not get promoted. I think Hegazi and Gibbs will follow. We do need to get the right replacements in fast to give Bilic a chance to mould them into a team...I am frustrated that other teams can get players through the door in a few days whereas the Albion board take months. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - WBA-Josh - 09-07-2019 If Hegazi goes then we should sign his Egypt teammate Baher El Mohamady from Ismaily, Diogo Queiros on loan from Porto and 1 more centre back, preferably a left footer like Maxim Leitsch from Bochum or Felix Uduokhai from Wolfsburg (if it’s possible). Investment in some young defenders. Knowing Albion we’ll sign 1 centre back and then use Fitzwater and O’Shea as 3 and 4.

DD DD, that would be the one bright moment of this month RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 8th - Dingle-Dingle - 09-07-2019 I hear Jimmy Shan is coming back..... To play in midfield. DD
