CC is a four man unit, and Roeder is doing whatever he's doing so that's 5 if he is to co-ordinate with the others. I think CC and Roeder are the only ones involved in the committee from the playing side of the club. The three coaches won't be involved in that as far as I can tell. Roeder will be responsible for scouting and CC for day to day activities with the team and match day formations and tactics. Paul Senior and Jonathan Hill make up the rest of the committee with Senior being special advisor to DC and I think Hill will manage the academy and youth set up. RE: New Manager Thread - madsteve - 01-07-2015 This is consistent with everything DC has said since he took over. The outcry from fans is similar to when Howard Wilkinson was appointed 32 years ago last week. Let's hope that the fans moaning now are just as wrong as the fans moaning then. RE: New Manager Thread - consilio - 01-07-2015 We've basically brought in four coaches with absolutely no knowledge of the Championship. And they have already signed two players with no experience of English football. RE: New Manager Thread - consilio - 01-07-2015 Do we know much about the other three coaches, expertise, experience etc RE: New Manager Thread - Maddix - 01-07-2015 They all sound as if they are Portuguese ![]() RE: New Manager Thread - consilio - 01-07-2015 To be fair to CC. His profile on the OS is fairly impressive. Just the amount of clubs that worries me RE: New Manager Thread - Southeyowl - 01-07-2015 Lets see where we are after 10 games! then we can start to judge CC and his coaching team. RE: New Manager Thread - madsteve - 01-07-2015 I think this is an exciting venture into the unknown. A lot of fans would prefer to go down the traditional route of Sam Alladyce, Nigel Pearson or Neil Warnock. DC has a plan to get us back in the PL & you can bet your last pound that he has a plan to make us a PL force. We have to break the mould if we want to be a top six side. If fans are only prepared to give a new system ten matches then pretty much no-one will be given time to succeed at Wednesday. So your saying give him 10 gamess and then lets sack the xxxx ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: New Manager Thread - Statesideowl - 01-07-2015 I'm down to give anything a try. After the previous 20 years what could be worse? It's just like Consilio says, we're bringing in players and coaches with no Championship experience. Or any British experience for that matter. Not always, but often, it seems foreign players need to adapt to the physicality of the English game, and not flop when wind breezes by them. I feel as I did before, it's a master stroke or a massive disaster. No middle ground here. |
