Here is a conundrum for you:
Dike is potentially available for this weekend. A powerful and consistent goal scoring machine.
It is effectively like a new signing.
Do you:
A). Decide you can relax and do not need to splash out on a new striker in the final days of the transfer window.
B). Think, well he will be crocked again in a couple of weeks and so we need to spend urgently.

Young lad, can score goals ….. all positive.
Only featured in 33 games for us in three years, only 17 were starts I believe … big negative.
Answer for me is B.
Maja is out, we are short of fire power. A new striker is a most, nay, a minimum requirement we have to fill.
Dike may never have another injury in his career, he has been very unlucky, has he kicked a hundred black cats but I for one won’t be betting my house on it. I wish him well but his history (or herstory for the woke and feminists out there) doesn’t bode well.

It yells out for a loan - they’ll be a starter for a few weeks minimum (pre Dike full return), probably starting for another month or two (pre Maja return), and working with a manager with a reputation for improving young attackers.
