Can you believe in this day and age that the FA and FL still rely on fax machines!!!!  My company gets all its orders through email and email only these days, why can't they??

The only business that must think the 70's were the height of technological advancement Doh

With regards the 11 players, I believe it's 11 players SG said he would have so it will include back ups in case he misses out on his first targets.

Bolton apparently close to signing ALF on loan, someone we should have been after

Still, at least this time the media isn't frothing when reporting a SWFC takeover, so maybe these odd snippits of news are more genuine!!

Well my medical insurer here still likes documents submitting by fax rather than email/pdfscans !!
I think they must look after the Owls injury coverage too  Whistle

I noticed MM has said in the above article that he hopes we come close to the play-offs....ffs, that shit drives me crazy, why couldn't he hope to get into the play-offs !!!! First it would increase chances of a take-over if we were being bought out. Every potential new owner wants a crack at the holy grail !! And second it would convince some players we are a good club to come too, ffs !! Maybe it would have raised expectations but why the fook not, no one honestly believed we could get into the play-offs. It sets the club off with a winning mentality, not a "oh whatever, we will see how it goes". Ffs!!

Obviously we are weaker now than at other times in the season without, a winger, a creative CM and a goal scorer but those players are there even on loan and would come to us if they believed we were going all out for the play-offs.

I also want to see consilio back because the only person I can torment now is imre. Doh

And that's too easy. Laugh

I could turn my attention to thurnscoe. Huh

Nah. He's too young. He wouldn't understand my "mature" humor Doh

I don't know why he says anything at all!!! I suppose he is responding to questions from the Star but if I was him I would just say that as soon as there was something to tell he would call them!! As Imre said, all we can do is wait and see, and hope the team just gets on with it on the field.

One point here. We have 13 players that go out of contract this summer including Mattock, Loovens, Buxton, Semedo, Maghoma & Lee, who will only get a new contract if we don't go up. So there is no incentive for these players to bust a gut to get promotion because it means that they will have to find a new club.

Another reason to get players contracts sorted early.
