Some prior personal commitment according to reports. There are other reports, one says he is having surgery, another says it is so we don't have to pay Villa any sort of compensation. Might be best to wait until the press conference.
Be surprised if we bring anyone in, will any one leave is the more intriguing one. I'm sure Bruce will have some say if any one does leave.

I'm sure he will have a say that's possibly why he's postponing his start ? The other two coaches start work now remember ! Or he's not getting any money for transfers and he will just see out this season and start in the summer with the rebuild ! All said and done we are never going to peg back 11pts on sixth place and we are vertualy safe of the drop give a take a few wins and draws .
The seasons over yesterday as far as I'm concerned if we hadn't have dropped the 4pts it's was still in the balance .but we did and that's that .
I think its all probably a blessing in disguise aswell .think about it ? Let's say we did a Fulham and go up ? What the eff would this lot do in the premier ? Yep noball ! And to have to buy 10 players would be ridiculous ! We will be better going up with new players on longer contracts and buying the odd few .this team is for dismembering fact .

Agree Imre. No point going up with the current squad. Also no point spending silly money in January when A) they are overpriced b) what nobody wants unless you go back to a and overpay.
This squads good enough to stay up. Clear out the dead wood and rebuild in the summer. No brainer for me. Lets also not get fooled by players who suddenly play for a contract. Nuhui and JJ spring to mind.

I think the rumour is that he has sold the ground, not the club. Trying to give Bruce some transfer funds apparently. Just a rumour though.

The match against the scrubbers will be on sky march 4th monday night so the idiots can have a good tear up in and around the staduim before and after
last time we played them on a monday night it was bedlam !!!
