Glad you missed me mate Laugh

Now guys calm down and take a chill pill
Last season our first signing was ........

2016 - Matt Phillips (July 6)

The Scot proved to be a bargain buy, and cost less than half of what QPR were demanding a summer earlier.

And even then some time later ...........

Albion did have to wait a while until the next one - Brendan Galloway - came through the door.

Just a loan signing Whistle

Now guys, the sense of reasoning is back
So do as your'e told and calm down

Specially yow saft Rolleyes

RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (15 June) - Stairs - 18-06-2017

Smalling linked to a battle between Spurs and Arsenal.

This is the reality when we get attached to 'quality' players. Others with theoreticallybetter brands and bigger budgets will inevitably step in and steal.

We need to wait and see - patience is required as an Albion fan.

Then a surprise name or more likely an unknown will sign and it will send the fans into a frenzy of horror and complaint.

Then in 6 months time (hopefully) he will be their favourite all time player.

RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (19 June) - drewks - 19-06-2017

One day I'm going to look at this thread and see that we've actually signed someone.

One day.
Someone.
Anyone.

Season starts 12 August; that's less than 8 weeks.

Hopefully there's LOADS going on behind the scenes......

Yes drewks, there is a phenomenal amount going on behind the scenes, at the start of the season you will be surprised. The toilets will have been cleaned and painted, the snack bars will be refilled, the terraces, sorry showing my age, the stands will have been swept and the grass will have been cut.

Then on the 30th of August we will realise that the window is closing, all our targets are gone and we will sign anybody that can stand up ....... Whistle Confused Whistle

now linked to Jay Rodriguez again and James MacCarthy.

My colleague is a massive Everton Fan and is laughing at the idea of getting anywhere near £20million for McCarthy.!!!

this window is solely depressing, neither play are something i was hoping for! maybe I've become too ambitious.
