Just a note Brighton have a January recall on beadle ...so whatever they say now means bugger all if they lose a keeper through Injury then or they have a bad season .

Everything seems to be going through proper channels as if adults are actually in charge this time!!
It's wonderful, it really is. Pre season at Wednesday is usually stress and anguish as we wait for panic signings at the last minute, unable to land our initial targets.

Looks like Chalobah is a done deal, signing a 2 year contract from reports. Atty is also following him now. Lots of experience and a lot of early promise when at Chelsea, lets hope this is one of those that works out, we have seen a few of the opposites in our time!!
Not sure if it was mentioned on here but one of our most important signings was keeping Chris Powell at the club. For one he is English and knows the EFL better than any of the other coaches and secondly he is a great motivating factor for the players. Great signing!!

I'm on the fence about Chalobah. That's a big earner and he'd need to produce.
Still, I like that we're signalling our intention to improve and Chansiri is backing Rohl fully..
Love me some Chris Powell, he's a huge figure in the coaching staff. Bags of experience coaching the England youths. Years of experience.
He stated that the Wednesday job saved him in a way.
