With Daws gone we banked £4,2 & JRod £10 together with a £35 million parachute payment someone's making a fortune. £16.5 for Rondon that's a cool £66 million in the pot let's just see how much we spend ?

Good luck to Rodriguez. He’s been a good player for the club, lacked consistency at times, but generally a solid player for us. His versatility will be especially missed.

This now leaves a very large gap in the squad with Rondon, Rodriguez and Gayle gone or going. We need at least 2 strikers, Gayle if we can get him and 1 other. I suggested Josip Drmic a month ago but he has gone to Norwich. Walid Azarou from Al Ahly in Egypt could be a good left-field option but he might cost too much considering his club rejected a bid of $10 million last year from China.

How about the Whole of the Madagascar Squad for a couple of Million. They have been an absolute breath of fresh air. Fantastic attitude.
And what's more have pride in wearing the Shirt. Some of them play in the French 4th Division... but you couldn't tell.

Jeeez - everything we hear is about departures or 'possible interest'.
About time we actually got some players IN to replace the? 10/11/12 that have left or are leaving.

Same old story - it seems like yet again we're waiting for the 'sales' where only those who nobody else wants are left.

I understand the new guy Filip has been given shirt No 7. I was concerned with everyone leaving he may have had to wear 1-11. DD Doh Doh

Dunno about you guys but I’m really excited about an attack lead by Robson Kanu.....goals galore Thumb up

Now we have all this incoming cash and no strikers, does anyone think there’s even a remote possibility of us going back in for Gayle or would it still require us to make half of Sandwell redundant? It also begs the question that Gayle might not want to come as his chances of playing Prem football have increased in the absence of Rondon and Perez

Today we have lost another player ,that's 8 in total since the end of the Villa game .. .
We now have to replace 7-8 players and the transfer window shuts the day before the season starts that's in 4 weeks ....
By my reckoning that's two signings a week for the next month ...
Easy :-(

On the bright side a great chant for the cricket on Thursday :-) ...

To the tune of Another Brick In The Wall:

He still needs some education
He still needs some self control
No gold sandpaper in his pocket
Warner, leave those balls alone
Hey, Warner, leave those balls alone
All in all he’s just another cheat like them all... https://t.co/Jq7YLhi6lD

Rogers off to Man City - let's just padlock the Astle gates and forget it.
