RE: Match Thread - Ipswich Town - mc4owl - 11-02-2015 Apologies for sticking my big, fat nose in, but I don't think Thurnscoe has been tearing into anyone PEI. And he started off with a "sorry for your loss". It looked like the pair of them were having a conversation (I think also actually started by Amelia). Not sure how that's insensitive. Is it just because he disagrees with you about NooPoo?! And, Amelia, also, sorry for your loss. RE: Match Thread - Ipswich Town - peiowl - 11-02-2015 not at all. read some of his posts. conversation is a bit much. it's all about timing and however it started, this was not the time to get into it with her. RE: Match Thread - Ipswich Town - mc4owl - 11-02-2015 It was bordering a heated conversation at times, i'll give you that, but it clearly is an issue they both feel strongly about. I don't think Thurny was out of line and Amelia didn't seem to complain. 'Tis a forum from which anyone can turn and "walk" away from if they don't like what is being said after all. Not having a pop or looking for a row by the way PEI, just chucking my tuppence in! RE: Match Thread - Ipswich Town - Amelia Chaffinch - 11-02-2015 I should have left it alone. It's OK. I was just trying to explain that I had other other priorities which meant I wasn't stalking anyone (not that I ever have). I accept that apart from the udders comment most of it was entirely involving you lot and nowt to do with me. Why not ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Match Thread - Ipswich Town - Towinjustonce - 12-02-2015 I wouldn't be to put out with Lambert as manager either. Plays decent football and has an eye for players. Benteke, Hoolihan etc. The last few weeks thou he has made strange decisions at Villa, maybe that's been the Lerner affect. Would be definitely worth a look by the new owners, but they will have to be quick, he won't be out of work for long!! RE: Match Thread - Ipswich Town - peiowl - 12-02-2015 I think I'm more annoyed at the way we threw that game away than anything else. Not really annoyed with thurnscoe although I think he used poor judgement in his tete a tete with Amelia. They seem ok. so not for me to keep stoking the fire. But, when SG made those substitutions just about everyone on here was dumbfounded. We all had our different takes on what he should have done. No one as I recall thought he'd made the right calls. Buxton? what was that all about? I could see Palmer, but not Buxton. Nupoo. Well, you know what I think about him. Others with not as strong a view as mine questioned whether he would set the game on fire. Maghoma or Bus would have been better. Melo. Only justified to prevent Hutch being red carded. Most of the season people have been banging on about how SG has been costing us games and I've been on the fence because the players have to be held accountable. This game showed me just how inept SG is and how he really is costing us games. He's out of his depth but I fear it will take the new owners some time to see that and we could get dragged down into that relegation quagmire. |
