Hector we had at Aberdeen on loan from Reading, didn't expect much but he turned out to be superb, really superb
Transfer to Chelsea followed but its been nothing really but loans to Hull City and the Bundesliga, think has the opportunity with a side like Sheff Wed to show his best, wasted in the reserves at Chelsea

That's the problem with the England team. Clubs like Chelski hoover up all the talent but never play them so we never have any players coming through. Maybe the powers that be should think about putting a cap on the size of academies. I also have the nagging thought that the big clubs sign up players, knowing they will never play them, just to stop their rivals signing them. It's more like a corporate strategy than a sport

Gareth Southgate spoke about that this week. As he said we are U17 and U20 WC champions yet we will see virtually none of those players playing in the Prem this season. The only way it will change is if the teams are forced to field a certain number of UK born players or a restriction on the number of overseas players they can play. Its actually one of the benefits that might come out of Brexit because a lot of the players currently in the Prem and Championship from overseas would not qualify for a work visa under the old rules prior to the EU having open borders.
The other part is when is an owner going to look at what the PL clubs spend on transfers and realize that a top academy player will cost him nowt!!! The managers are not interested in young players in the Prem, they want the finished article only because their job is always a few losses away from being lost, so the owners need to force this.

Unlikely they'll feature having joined a day ago. There's no excuses for Boyd and co to be in the lineup next week

cant see the point in the midfield signing hes still playing xbox games and maybe hasnt even fingered a girl yet ? remember this is a loan so it doesnt matter if he comes on or not this season as he wont be with us in the future ! this also robbs one of our youngsters shirts which again is mental !! we were crying out for someone to come in and take the pressure of bannan .. its not happened so forget the playoffs its now nailed on relegation or midtable is all the chairman wants to achieve !
