Semedo is the 'Hype man' along with Nuhiu they'll rally the dressing room spirits.
Cup games is where we should expect to see them, as relief to first placed players.

I get the reason for keeping him. I'm not fanatical about him leaving and Nuhiu can stay for all I care. What does he do, tell Austrian jokes in the dressing room, give them all a back rub...? Better stop there.
