RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - WBA Will - 01-07-2015 (01-07-2015, 12:27)Baggie_One Wrote: From the Express and Star today.......really ?? REALLY ??? £22 million? Is Steve Madeley on crack? No way would JP pay that! Think Austin and Philips would both be decent signings but not sure on that price. £15m on Austin would be the highest I'd go (young, English, did very well last season) but an extra £7m for Phillips and Lambert would probably be pushing it. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - aries22 - 02-07-2015 (01-07-2015, 18:13)WBA Will Wrote:(01-07-2015, 12:27)Baggie_One Wrote: Tony Pulis is homing in on a double QPR raid and looking to spend £22 million on Austin and Matty Phillips plus Rickie Lambert. I thought the £22 million was for Austin and Phillips only. I also believe JP has come to trust TP completely - witness Terry Burton's removal. I wouldn't take Lambert while we still haven't offloaded either of Big Vic or Brown Ideye. (01-07-2015, 16:45)tidy Wrote: Give me a 33 year old Ricky Lambert over Brown Ideye any day of the week.... Give me Charlie Austin over 33 year old Ricky Lambert and sicknote Big Vic! RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - talkSAFT - 02-07-2015 Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Greg Davies (of Inbetweeners) being measured for the no.3 shirt!!!!!!!!!!! RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 02-07-2015 Defender George Friend, 27, says he is happy at Middlesbrough despite interest from Premier League West Bromwich Albion. If he leaves no doubt they'll be sniffing around the same players as us RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Salopbaggie - 03-07-2015 Interesting that Everton are reported to be after Gamboa. I seem to remember that they were after him at the same time, we were, after the World Cup. Seems a little strange, if he is that bad why would a club with a record of signing quality want to sign him............ UNLESS!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - BaggieMan - 03-07-2015 Salop, Gamboa has hardly been given a chance since his arrival at The Hawthorns after being hailed by the footballing world as one of the stars of the competition. It has to be something else that causes both AI and TP to ignore him. In TP's case, is it the fact he's not a giant 6ft 6in centre half or is it he likes an afternoon siesta ? I just don't get it why, given his stated quality, he hasn't been given that fair chance. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Worldclassalbion - 03-07-2015 I have mentioned before that I think Gamboa has been treated badly, to go from having a brilliant world cup to obscurity is baffling to me. He will def come back to haunt us and good luck to the kid. Plus Leicester have bid 12m for Austen so come on Albion STEP UP, get a bid in because he is what we are crying out for. ![]() Yeah Yeah ok i'm a dork ![]() Its the heat ![]() RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - Baggievicar - 03-07-2015 I was about to post that if QPR want more than £12m we won't be in for him, but in the light of the promised takeover announcement I suppose it's just possible that pigs are about to be given jetpacks after all. |
