Love the place ![]() aardvark shit RE: Match Thread - Rotherham - Thurnscoe_OWL - 22-03-2015 that's whale shit imre. May doesn't put his chances away but he's got a fair few assists (got one yesterday) and doesn't look like he's not enjoying it here (just look at his celebration after the winner). Gazelle shit also, I think I know the part of the highlights you are talking about with the new bloke central and I think he drifted in with the ballbecause there were no options. Snake shit RE: Match Thread - Rotherham - Maddix - 22-03-2015 Yeah that's armadillo shit Imre ![]() ![]() Yak shit. Orangutan shit RE: Match Thread - Rotherham - Statesideowl - 22-03-2015 I think Vermijl has been alright personally, he's dropped the ball a few times no doubt about it, but who in our team hasn't fcuked up at least once this season? Even Westwood has had a blunder and he's my hero for this season. He's still young like May, Bus, Keane ( whom we should sign if poss) we're putting together a young squad of unpolished gems, with the right management we could really have something good here. Can't say I agree with the assessment that SG got it right yesterday, his subs did make an impact its true. But, how often does he roll the dice and nothing or worse happens? More often than it works that's for certain. We didn't deserve to win the game, scored 3 goals in the final 12 minutes and that's including injury time. We were lucky, Rovrum thought they'd won it and did what we usually do by stepping off the gas, leading to terrible defending and loose marking. Saying that, we took our chances well leaving them shell shocked, I thought all 3 goals were well finished, Mcgugans tidy foot work and crossing is something we've cried out for all season. I agree with Thurny, that a manager or DOF needs to come in and work with SG to the end of season. SG can then remain in a coaching role. RE: Match Thread - Rotherham - St Charles Owl - 22-03-2015 I read somewhere that DoF is a position DC is looking to fill, and it may just be the best move to get us on the up. I like SG, he has done well considering the lack of money but he does show he is tactically old school and unwilling or unable to adapt!! But he has done a very good job with the defence this season and I do think we would have seen the defence keep its form better than it has had Loovens not got injured. Can't help thinking that SG should be our defence coach, bring in a coach or two who are attack minded and then have a director of football to make the key decisions!! |
