Exactly, the officials think they're sly but so far the tournament is a crap show with the offsides, pen given for a foul outside the box, goals ruled out that shouldn't be ruled out.
Massively inconsistent carding against some team's which is blatantly visible.
It's becoming another spillover of the World Cup. Those in control made an absolute fortune from the Qatari corruption and Argentinas little precious was given the cup after rampant cheating throughout the tournament.
Their players doing things like deliberately kicking the ball into the opposition dugout and the ref refused to discipline them as it would suspend them in the final. That's what we're seeing again.
People will always have short memories and that is preyed upon by elite greed.
The petty investigation into Bellingham's behaviour because he scored a last minute England equaliser, that's pissed someone off that wanted us out. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if those in charge actually do suspend him for the QF.

If you seriously think this is all rigged for certain teams to get through, then aside from needing some meds to help with that
, England would be in the finals every time because the revenue earned on the back of England outweighs all other European nations when it comes to football, and we know it all comes down to money doesn’t it??

I'm implying that the Turkish ref was acting independently and trying to scupper the chances of a possible semi-final opponent (a red card would see the player back for the semi). This is the guy that got chinned by a club chairman for blatantly cheating in favour of his team in the Turkish league.
I reckon all the refs should come from countries that haven't qualified, we could do with a Russian linesman or two
Seriously though, it wouldn't be hard to make sure that no referee gets a game in their home nations side of the draw

Almost always it comes down to money, but not every time..
Not every game is 'rigged' but many have been influenced by the officiating. FIFA and UEFA have their favourites, as do the sponsors.
I'm not sure if that's true about England generating more revenue either.
If you've failed to catch any of the influencing then it may not be meds you need, like me I suppose? But perhaps opening your eyes without blinkers on!

I wish I was sitting in first class but I get your point.
Every game is influenced by the officiating, as it always has been but that doesn't mean they are rigged. And if you really want to see bad officiating then just watch the Copa America, just watching that makes me appreciate the European refs more!!

I don't think you're entirely wrong, but I don't think I'm wrong either. It's obsessively cynical but there's no way this sort of money is floating about with an absence of corruption. It doesn't seem feasible to me.
Copa America is corrupt as fook there's definitely back handers going on, I saw plenty of games when I lived over there. It's proper banana republic football

Gareth could never allow our players to move at this tempo, he'd shit himself.
Sadly, this is exactly how we should be playing.
Overloading the opposition and moving the ball quickly.
