RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 25-01-2023 https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/voices-it-s-over-the-brexit-debate-is-finished/ar-AA16GG92?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=51fa0153698b41d396649b49b79d8333 A good article by The Independent re the Brexit failure that is affecting millions n millions of people in different ways and yet the political cover up continues regardless. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - theo_luddite - 25-01-2023 One of the lies spouted at the time to persuade the leave vote was we "don't need to be in the EU to be in the single market", which we didn't and still don't, then they changed their minds. Norn Iron suddenly became a problem that previously wasn't and they now try to blame it all on Covid and Russia/Ukraine. As for taking back control of our borders, (not that we never didn't have control, we didn't join Schengen and you had to pass through Passport Control going to/from any EU country going from/to the UK) overall that's worked out well hasn't it? Immigration continues to rise regardless, particularly from the EU in spite of the removal of our right to freedom of movement. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 26-01-2023 Indeed. Farage and his fellow travellers were openly saying we could stay in the single market Meanwhile the tories would rather drag your granny back to work than admit brexit is causing profound labour shortages. Meanwhile up here i saw the owner of LochFyne saying that he's had to let staff go and try and focus on selling scallops, lobster and langoustines to china (which will take years to develop) as its easier than selling to France!! RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 27-01-2023 https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/a-public-inquiry-into-brexit-will-now-be-considered-by-parliament/ar-AA16LYuz?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=36668ed69df04863af571b924d89555a A public inquiry on a subject that has "so many skeletons in the cupboard"!!!? However, I'm not "holding my breath" in great anticipation. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 03-02-2023 Rishi Sunak, the PM, in the parliamentary debating chamber yesterday claiming Brexit is not "hitting the pockets" of the general public and mocked by lots n lots of MPs to the point of raucous laughter ![]() https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/brexit-is-a-complete-disaster-and-total-lies-says-former-tory-donor/ar-AA16VR9C?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=09b8a09880e14a3fbd167696dcefc6eb Meanwhile another Tory donor finally concedes Brexit is a disaster and slamming in to the lies, the con that is Brexit. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 03-02-2023 https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/john-bercow-tells-nigel-farage-grotesque-blunder-of-brexit-is-nonsense-on-stilts/ar-AA174OiK?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=6a1369877a4346c698c30a8f047b3c9b IMO the more people who start slamming into the Brexit lie, and RW con men like Farage, the better!! I'm not a Bercow fan, but the genuine frustration and anger re Brexit being "tarted up" as having minimal effect on the country, is very clear from the fiery response to Farage. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 09-02-2023 https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/minister-repeatedly-corrected-live-on-air-after-making-brexit-trade-point/ar-AA17i8JV?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=07774af2d44e4036941da733fc0fc785 Another Brexit supporting political chancer "trying to flog a dead horse"!! How very tiresome this is becoming now while public opinion against the whole concept and lies surrounding Brexit continues to rise. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 12-02-2023 https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/disaster-is-right-brexit-is-a-self-inflicted-wound-that-cuts-dangerously-deep/ar-AA17nVqA?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=91a5a6c1937b48fe9ed867ab64bdd307 IMO the more dissenting voices, the better! And reputable individuals too! The flak against Brexit aint gonna go away any time soon and why should it even though there is a clear political conspiracy not to change it. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 12-02-2023 According to the observer secret cross party talks have taken place on the subject. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 13-02-2023 (12-02-2023, 19:47)hibeejim21 Wrote: According to the observer secret cross party talks have taken place on the subject. Gove covertly arranged these secret talks to "try to reverse the failure that is Brexit"???? It just confirms the political conspiracy I was referring to. To ensure these colluding politicians don't reverse a glaring mistake, a deception of the highest order! ![]() https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/the-starry-eyed-search-for-a-brexit-silver-lining/ar-AA17oPec?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=fcdf7a9e50be4d9aac6537cb672b01fe And no "silver lining" either although these Brexit-supporting bastards really wishing they had one!! This is a vg Guardian article re the folly of Brexit with no "get out" to make it work. |
