Many years ago three of us once every mnth went out on a Friday afternoon to destroy our livers.
One Friday started off at the Royal Oak in Poulton, a Kareoke was on, everybody was murdering songs apart from one person, who at first you thought was good then further into the song was superb twas Bobby Ball.
Never a great fan but understood why he got to be where he ended up on TV #RIP

The boys of 66 are falling. The boys of 2000+ need to stand up before they are all gone.

So by my reckoning, that just leaves Cohen, Hunt, Hurst and Charlton R.

Cohen was the one I was missing, thanks for not making me look him up. Thumb up

Thats nothing, I found myself wondering whether the subs that day were still alive, to the point where I looked up to see who was on the bench!! Only then I remembered that there were no benches in those days!!

Probably just as well. History would be different. Hurst would've probably been subbed for Jimmy Greaves before extra time. Or even another defender as we went into the final minute of the 90 still 2-1 up.
