Agree.
It will also save a load of dosh on a translator from Portuguese to Yorkshire when CC tries to explain to MC (?) the tactical vision.
"Reyt Mark this weekI want us to defend with 10 men and just lump it down to NooPoo when we win it back translates to Play flowing attractive football out from the back with one touch passes and see if we can get to double figures by HT !!"

RE: New Manager Thread - dubaiowl - 23-06-2015

Well it's been a wank summer so far. Really thought we were showing ambition getting rid of gray but cooper and the Portuguese numpty fill me wth no confidence. We should be looking to take a decent mgr off someone's hands. What do we do but go far a average league 1 over achiever and a foreigner no ones heard off.

Now if John west wasn gonna spend some. You think the two above would attract the likes of Ben Marshall, Rhodes et al. Would they f@ck.

It's a good job money talks as football players would work for me dead nan if the money was right.

St Charles - haha yes your correct.

Imre - Ive been lurking but too lazy to post although this mgt debacle as wound me up a bit. Makes me think its a bit unplanned or it would have happened after the Watford game. My theory is Gray didn't like Tuna or thai food or Roeder. Im glad he went but expected a better replacement.

RE: New Manager Thread - madsteve - 24-06-2015

Everything that DC does is planned very carefully.

He kept SG as long as he needed him to get Lee to re-sign then got rid of him to get Loovens to sign, who didn't see eye to eye with SG. Also McGugan fell out with SG so we had no chance of signing him with SG in charge.

The difference with DC is that he hasn't got the ego which means he has to shout about everything that he is doing.

RE: New Manager Thread - Washington - 25-06-2015

Hopefully tomorrow (or today for the UK) will be the Big day for announcements and we can all be somewhere else, depending on pov, on the ecstatic to depressed spectrum.

I wonder if MC also wants his current assistant as well and negotiating that's dragging things out even further?

Oh well, at least the pitch will be getting seeded soon and we can start watching the grass grow Benny Hill style in the week 8 and 9 time lapse .
