Playing in the Prem for us and Brighton wouldn't have hurt his bank account much either. Don't know much about the details of his contract in China but Covid lockdowns would have probably reduced what he might have earned by a fair chunk. I think he cut that contract short to join Celtic as China was still pretty much locked down for way longer than anyone else.

I think we need to bombard him with the same message we gave Warnock.

One more year!

Coady to Leicester City should be worth a few bob to us on the profit they've made down at Wolves, my estimate would be probably be between 500k and 1.2million

Oh and Koroma has signed a new contract, it will be announced this week

Someone at Everton clearly didn't fancy the transfer fee. Funny, they've not baulked at splashing the cash on a bunch of useless nobodies for oh, 3 or 4 seasons but about £5m or a lad born on their doorstep? Not that him originally wearing a red shirt has ever stopped them before. Any chance they are trying to avoid an FFP fine? Bloody embarrassing spending all that brass and sliding down from mid-table obscurity to relegation problems ay it?

I've said it afore, it's bloody expensive just trying to be mediocre in The Prima Donna League these days. It will all go tits up eventually, just like it did in Italy.

Euro u21 championship winners medals for Levi Colwill and Emile Smith-Rowe. Levi was outstanding but gave away a dubious var penalty in the final minute of injury time.

Thankfully young Trafford saved it and the trophy is coming home.
