RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - HighlandTerrier58 - 26-03-2015 That is sad news. Remember talking to Jimmy in a club in Wakefield late one night after they'd drawn 0-0 at Stamford Bridge in our old First Div. spell. I asked him how well had Chelsea played and Jimmy smiled his squint toothed grin and replied in broad Glaswegian,"As well as we'd let them!" That was the measure of the man. RIP Town legend. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 26-03-2015 Sad news indeed. When he tackled someone, they stayed tackled. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 26-03-2015 Just read that Chopper McGill has died. Only 68. He played in the side when I first started going. A tough tackling half back the likes of which we could right do with now. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 26-03-2015 You still got that deja vu button on your phone/computer Snoots? Theo's gone on loan from Donny to Scunny. No not me silly. After 4 goals in 40 games even Donny have given up on the king of the 6yd sitter-missers. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - JUSTASILLYOLDGIT - 27-03-2015 Called in Tesco express down the road. Knew it was a bit rough down there, but had to laugh when I noticed the Butchers Choice Sausages had security tags on them! Sign o' the times I suppose! ![]() RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 27-03-2015 That deja vu button is a strange one. Quite like the random delete button that ruined the predictions game the other week. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 27-03-2015 I was having fun with one of those when I was editing my Brum thread. I'd go to delete a word or sentence and find half my thread had disappeared. Good job I kept saving it and did the draft off-line or I'd have been well miffed. Methinks there are hidden functions in this site. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 28-03-2015 Would you adam'n'eve it. Theo scores one minute into his Sunny Scunny debut. ![]() RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 28-03-2015 (28-03-2015, 17:05)theo_luddite Wrote: Would you adam'n'eve it.
