Used to love dandelion and burdock!!! Didn't know you could still get it!!

RE: thread to talk about anything but sport/football - Thurnscoe_OWL - 09-04-2015

not enough dandelion and burdock about anymore but there's about 5 different varieties of coke, 3 pepsi, 2 fanta, sprite and 7up (which are the same thing), shit loads of bottled water and now we've got power drinks creeping over from the good ol' US of A.

While we're at it; make freddo's 10p again and milk bars 10p small and 15p big, put kitkat's and milky bars back into foil wrappers with paper round and proper sweets like 1p jellies and bubblies so kids can have a 20p mix up

I've always been able to get D&B, Cream Soda and even Vimto, when it was out of fashion, from numerous corner shops round Leeds/Bradford  Thumb up

iron bru is a perfect hangover cure according to my mate. Scientists seem to think it's sprite though

RE: thread to talk about anything but sport/football - Maddix - 10-04-2015

It's Irn Bru  Doh just to be pedantic  Cool

The Jocks swear by it as an hangover cure  Thumb up but any sugary drink will help as the main cause of the hangover is dehydration and subsequent lack of energy brought on by the ethanol, which has diuretic properties, contained in the alcohol of your choice  Thumb up Sugar is well known for its energy properties and the boost it gives to the system. However, there is a downside, the amount of energy that sugar releases into the system is difficult to work off in a calorific sense and the body will store any excess as fat  Thumb up I find the best 'cure' for a hangover is to not bother getting sober  Laugh or if you do have to, a 'Full English' and a pint of hot tea has the same curative effects  Thumb up for me anyway  Cool

that mexican hangover cure sounds nice imre Thumb up tarantula shit

My method of curing a hangover is to only have one little glass of sherry. That way you can watch the highlights of Nooopooos greatest ever misses through completely sober eyes. sloth shit

my hangover cure is mash potato and gravy and anything you're brave enough to partner it with. My favourite recently is fish fingers (fish sticks in america but if you say you like fish sticks then that makes you a gay fish) Big Grin
