There’s a perfectly logical explanation by the club in the E&D article and unless they’re lying, there’s not much more to say. I do not think you can read to much into CL not getting a call. As good as CL was at his job, he is now a lecturer, so maybe that is why the current WBA E&S reporter gets to see the papers and the club do not feel, they have to call someone no longer connected to the club. Lets face most of us have been dealing with the club since before CL was born and I am guessing they did not tell any of us either. You never hear him say anything positive for our club. His tweets are always negative and he has now roped Goldberg of the radio into his sordid world. I do not know the man and I do not want to if all he can do slate the club of for his own agenda , against people in the club who he seems to totally dislike. I’m sick and tired of hearing about the shareholders who were after a quick fix.Ive also heard that some of the shareholders refuse to watch the Albion until this shareholder agenda is sorted. Well for me there small minded fans with who are just thinking of themselves. That’s my rant over and I will say no more on those pathetic individuals. RE: Huge Trouble Brewing .... - Blue Baggie - 12-11-2020 CL just never comes up with any good news. He has become a sad individual who craves limelight. IMO anything I see him linked with I regard as garbage. He can't wait to say "I told you so" Even a dead clock is right twice a day. Plus "We Wuz Robbed" https://t.co/7y8WOUFQjF After all the years and I never realised Beefy was really Adrian Goldberg ![]() After listening to the podcast, I am a little confused, did these sources say the 'oversea investors' spoke to the club or the owner of of the club? It seems to me there is little point talking to the club about this, I would have thought it would have to be the owner any prospective takeover would have to be discussed with, rather than the club. RE: Huge Trouble Brewing .... - Baggiebob(BBB) - 23-11-2020 Good post by Beefy who seems in the know. Though after Salop posted "After listening to the podcast, I am a little confused, did these sources say the 'oversea investors' spoke to the club or the owner of of the club? It seems to me there is little point talking to the club about this, I would have thought it would have to be the owner any prospective takeover would have to be discussed with, rather than the club," I'd agree that normally would be true, however with Chinese often going under different names and guieses, they may have to go thru the club to get his contact address/tel number. I also hope this was true as Le Li Lum has been ruddy useless as an Executive. Also what has happened to the young chinaman we loaned out for a year? |
