SCO, Hogg's tackle? on Arter on Friday was worse and that got a yellow anyway we have appealed against decision

Problem is as you said above, on first sight it looks like a red card challenge, its only when you look at replays you see its not as bad as first thought. Unfortunately the ref only has his first sight to go on, if this was in the PL then VAR would have looked at it and he might have not have been sent off, but the ref didn't have that option. You should appeal it and it probably should be reduced to a yellow, but the damage has been done as we have all seen many, many times.
