Crown green or cricket? You can bowl underarm in both, ask the Aussies. ![]() Gk- I was getting on a bit when I played this game, but I was still the best man for the job in many a town fans eyes. I am now a coach at a championship side. Ian Bennett Cb- a solid defender that lead by example, I came through the system of a Merseyside based team and clocked up just shy of 200 league appearances for the terriers. Peter Clarke Rb- a home grown player that added a different dimension down the right side. Made a big impression on my debut against a 'big' club. I'm still playing in the championship Jack Hunt Cm- an old head to offer experience in the middle of the park, I played a season for the terriers after joining from another Yorkshire team. I had a solid career amassing over 500 appearances Kevin Kilbane ??? Must admit on my first attempt before seeing Snoots' answer, the only one I thought I'd got right was Kilbane for this one. ![]() Rm- I came from North of the border and have since returned there. Was used as a bit of a utility player during my time here and I've played better since I left. I play my international football for a 'smaller' nation North of a border. Scott Arfield Lm- I played my best football for Huddersfield and became a fan favourite during my time here. What I lacked in pace I made up with ability. I'm still on the books for a championship side Danny Ward St- became a bit of an icon at town for the wrong reasons rather than the right ones. I had had a decent career up until that point being known as a robust player rather than a goal scorer Ishmael Miller Alan, Alan Lee St- I scored going back to an old stomping ground. Made a career in being a prolific Scorer, my build up play has often been slated and I often lose that goalscoring touch if I work too hard out of the box. Jordan Rhodes 1 - never really played at town having come as third choice with the view to moving into coaching. Coached at town for a while before being relieved of my duties. I'm now at a fellow championship club Nick Colgan 2- only had a loan spell at town and never really did anything. I've since gone on to be a solid championship defender and a club captain Richard Keogh ??? RE: Tumbling terriers vs Buzzing bees - theo_luddite - 17-01-2020 After effects of real man flu mean I've confined myself to barracks again this weekend AmChaff. ![]() It's a first but to be honest, I don't want to start knocking Palace and Charlton fans off the M6 as they probably have a clue how to drive on motorways anyway. Gawd only knows there will be plenty of numpties going up on Sunday from that there Larndan to watch the Red Scouse play the Red Mancs and the M6 will be totally fooked from Knutsford back to Stafford before kick-off and the same on the way back after the match while the sarfan clowns play dodgems with each other. Fear not , I've fortified the barracks with a healthy supply of ales, Rioja, a few other vino's plus a few spirits, so I don't have to be a full time cocktail mixologist to ensure I survive the weekend. I'll probably try a few to keep me hand in, has to be done. The fridge/freezer and environs are full of 10 minute pan jobs, 5 minute chicken/beef/pork dings and the odd can of soup so I will survive to at least the QPR game. Fresh veggies, fruits and all that other crap - yeah I've got some of that too to help the liquid refreshments do their job. It's not that hard surviving as a single bloke tha' knows - just ask yer missus for tips ![]() RE: Tumbling terriers vs Buzzing bees - jjamez - 17-01-2020 Elbow al is correct theo. With my success rate at bowling, under arm will probably give me as much a chance as any RE: Tumbling terriers vs Buzzing bees - Lord Snooty - 17-01-2020 Not Kevin Killbill. Damien Johnson. 4- signed after some good performances against town. I looked half decent for the early part of my debut but injury curtailed that. After that I didn't look like a player at all. I've since gone into footballing obscurity Sounds like Keigan Parker RE: Tumbling terriers vs Buzzing bees - jjamez - 17-01-2020 Johnson yes, Parker no RE: Tumbling terriers vs Buzzing bees - Lord Snooty - 17-01-2020 Lb- scouser by birth, scouser by nature. Equally at home on the left as I was the right. A solid if unspectacular player, I did not let anyone down. I'm still playing back down in league one. Liam Ridehalgh? RE: Tumbling terriers vs Buzzing bees - jjamez - 17-01-2020 Survey says newp RE: Tumbling terriers vs Buzzing bees - theo_luddite - 18-01-2020 That midfielder - didn't he join us from Sunny Scunny? |
