Good shout, loved Koumas and Koren, I posted my list but the system lost it, most of my names were more seventies related, but since I began in the early seventies there have been many greats, in all fairness I could not even get that list down to ten. No one has mentioned brunty, jimbo Morrison's, Paul Robinson etc etc

Going back to the 60's there have been far too many favoutites to even begin compiling a top ten.
However, when we think of the Astle and Bomber era we tend to overlook the contribution made by Albion's "engine room".
For me one of the best passers of the ball I ever saw......Bobby Hope.

Honourable mentions for Zoltan Gera and Somen Tchoyi. Thought Tchoyi was fantastic but underused, probably because he couldn't be arsed in training.

Hey Slick - I'd completely forgotten about Tchoyi! One of the most naturally gifted players I've ever seen, but (correct me if I'm wrong) he never had a great impact, wherever he went.
What a waste.

2. Willie Johnston ( lightning fast, great entertainer)
3. Len Cantello (great player)
4. Laurie Cunningham (the most majestic player to grace The Albion, Legendary Status)
5. Cyrille Regis (Powerhouse Striker......Legendary status)
6. Derek Statham (Best LB in the country by a mile, overlooked by England too many times)
7. Zoltan Gera (superb player, goal scorer and creator......Legend)
8. Bomber Brown (Nuff said, no explanation needed)
9. Jason Koumas (sublime footballer, what happened???)
10. Kevin Phillips (we could have gotten 2 more seasons out of him, most natural finisher I have ever seen at The Albion)
Honourable mentions too Martin JOL too, filled the gap left by Robson superbly. And Super Bobby Taylor.
