Yes but look at Ricky German's appearances for us it could lead you to think we'd offered him plenty of chances. Add up the minutes you find he was getting ten minutes to change a game. Now Crawley are making the same mistake ........ he has proved he isn't a ten-minute game changer like Scott Boden - he's starter.
From the bare stats you'd think Jordan Bowery got lots of goes at Villa stardom. He struggled to get minutes on the field is the truth. They didn't think he was good enough.

I understand where you're coming from and the stats can be misleading. I think Ricky German should have stayed at Chesterfield as he would have done well in the National League. Jordan Bowery struggled to make the jump from L1/L2 to the Premier League and it was a struggling Villa side as well.

Villa was the worst move Jordan could have made. They were hoping to net a star for next-to-nothing. Jordan was one of several who didn't cut the mustard. Whether he might have made it elsewhere we'll never know, but I kinda don't think so.
