RE: CHELSEA v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - Lord Snooty - 02-02-2019 Seen it now. That happens in the centre circle, it's not a free kick. Never a bloody pen. ![]() RE: CHELSEA v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - theo_luddite - 02-02-2019 It didn't get better. I've ordered a steak before I go hunt down the rattler. And the time before that, we only lasted for two seasons. But that's where the parallels end. Back then (1971-72), we were a much different club. We had no money and absolutely nothing had been put into strengthening the team. We had more or less the same players who took us up. From my opening match thread of the season. The home match against Chelsea. I can't believe how far we have now fallen. Wagz has gone. Deano's ill and the talk is of him selling up (maybe true, maybe not). We have played 25 games and only scored 13 goals, gaining 11 points in the process. I really, really thought this was it. We were destined for mid table mediocrity. But hey ho. We still have a football club. We still have the Championship to look forward to. What tv station does the EFL highlights these days? ![]() RE: CHELSEA v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - jjamez - 02-02-2019 The town 'players' are on our train RE: CHELSEA v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - theo_luddite - 02-02-2019 Hopefully as pissed off as the fans following that. Seen one result on the way back that has made me smile though. ![]() RE: CHELSEA v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - Lord Snooty - 02-02-2019 (02-02-2019, 22:11)jjamez Wrote: The town 'players' are on our train I imagine they're not in the same mood as the last trip home from Stamford Bridge. ![]() (02-02-2019, 22:37)theo_luddite Wrote: Hopefully as pissed off as the fans following that.
